But here we will mainly focus on the following parts which will later ease our programming task.

This arduino board has 1 microcontroller from Atmel (usually ATMEGA328P-PU). The pin configuration of this microcontroller is given below (PDIP package):

Arduino I/O (Input/Output) pins:
     For digital I/O operations, we will use digital pins 0-13.
     For PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) or analog output, we will use digital (PWM~) pins 3, 5-6 and 9-11.
     To read analog values, we will use analog pins A0-A5.
